Personalized Dog Tags

Dog tags that have been personalized have become absolutely the latest rave!   Everybody, from the rich to the not-so rich, wants to have a dog tag personalized.  The military used to personalize one for each soldier.  Now, for only a few dollars, you can have your very own.

The process of personalizing a dog tag correctly requires a piece of equipment that etches your choice of text and graphics on your choice of metal dog tag.  The machine is itself, run by a common pc computer.  The software appears on the screen much like you would type and print any document, except the “printer” is an etcher, and the “paper” is the dog tag.

Not only are the dog tags very personalized because of the medallion, but they also become very personal when a specific chain is chosen.  Ladies (yes, women LOVE these things) like to personalize theirs with a beautiful gold plated chain.  There are many types and styles and sizes of chain that make your dog tag unique.

And that is not all.  Most dog tag producers are realizing that the packaging is also a wonderful way to personalize the dog tag.  There are lovely gift boxes, lined and satiny.  There are different colored boxes.  The gift box, itself, becomes a keepsake for the recipient.  Then, there is the card that comes along with the gift box, much like you would when you send someone flowers or a teddy bear.
